Winston Harold Parks age 83, passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at Valley Health Care Center, Chilhowie, Va.

Born in Grayson County, Va. in 1941 to the late Winston Harlow and Lena R. Parks, Harold was a Christian man who loved the Lord. His hope and prayer were that everyone would accept the Lord into their hearts and be saved, so that one day he could see them all again.

Harold is survived by his wife of 56 years, Norma Jean Sherwood Parks of Marion, Va.; sisters, Glenda Ann Parks Byrd, Brenda Catherine Parks; brother, Larry Kyle Parks; nieces, Deranda Byrd Roop, Terrie Byrd Lewis & Teresa Brooks Powers (Rodney).

Graveside services will be held Thursday, July 10, 2025 at 12:30 p.m. at Riverside Cemetery, 231 Redstone Road, Chilhowie, Va. with Pastor Stuart Orr officiating. Family & friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 12:15 p.m.
