Wilma Shumate

 Wilma Shumate age 83 passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at Johnston Memorial Hospital, Abingdon, Va.

 She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Shumate; son, Ben Shumate; parents, Hurt & Madge Parsons; and daughters – in – law, Cindy Shumate and Heather Shumate. 

 Wilma is survived by three sons, Jessie Shumate (Carol), Jeff Shumate, all of Memphis, Tenn. and Greg Shumate of Abingdon, Va.; brother, Carson Parsons (Virginia) of Konnarock, Va.; three grandchildren, Patrick, Zachary & May.
