William A. "Bill" Cregger

William A. “Bill” Cregger age 78, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2023 at his home.

Bill was born January 21, 1945 in Tazewell County to the late Edgar & Effie Cregger.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife and soul mate of 46 years, Pauline Cregger; son, William Stuart “Midge” Cregger.

Bill is survived by daughters, Susie Cregger, Kathy Bishop and Etta Cregger (Michael Mitchell), all of Wytheville, Va.; sons, David Cregger and wife, Pat of Wytheville, Va., Timmy Cregger and wife, Felicia of Atkins, Va.; brother, Joel F. Cregger of Ceres, Va.; six grandchildren, Alicia, Tiffany, Tommy, Brandon, Cody and Sabrina; two great-grandchildren, Alexis and Bryan; great-great-granddaughter, Lakyn Deel; three bonus-grandsons, William Allen, Buster Akers and Herman Bishop.

The family will receive friends Saturday, December 30, 2023 from 5 until 7 p.m. at Fraziers’ Seaver-Brown Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 7 p.m. with Pastor Jeff Spickard and Pastor Mike Hopkins officiating. Graveside services will be held Sunday, December 31, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Zion Cemetery, 3171 Old Rich Valley Road, Ceres, VA 24318.
