MARION, Va. Violet Marie (Hart) Blevins, age 85, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, October 18, 2017, passing peacefully with family by her side. She was born September 19, 1932 in White Top, Va. to the late Thomas Henry and Edna Mae Finley Walters. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lillard Ray Hart; brothers, Elmer Walters and Johnny Walters; and sister, Gaynell Kell. Violet is survived by her sisters, Della Hart and husband, Charles of Chilhowie, Va. and Patty Rowland of Marion, Va.; brother, Tom Walters, Jr. and wife, Inez of Chilhowie, Va.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Blevins family would like to express their appreciation to Wythe Hospice of Southwest Virginia for their excellent care, as well as her special caregivers, niece Linda Kell Bentley, and Anita Harmon.
