Pulaski, Virginia

Valerie Crawford Daniel of Atlanta, GA passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital at the age of 66.

It is with great sadness that I announce the loss of my dear wife whom I am very much in love with. Valerie was born December 15, 1958 in McDonough, GA. Valerie was a devout Jehovah’s Witness for 45 years. She was a member of the Pulaski Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Radford, VA. She was known for being a very spiritual person who loves the true God Jehovah and his son, Jesus Christ. Valerie’s hope is to be resurrected and live in a beautiful paradise on Earth (Acts 24:15, Ps 37:9 -11, 29.) Valerie is a very beautiful person inside and out and loved by many. She will be dearly missed. May we all remember Jehovah’s people never say goodbye for the last time (John 5:28, 29).

She was preceded in death by her mother Berthelia Crawford.

Valerie is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Lewis B. Daniel; two sons, Bernard Hatcher (Kimberly Hatcher) and Corey Hatcher (Tequila Hatcher); brother, Shelton Brown (Tonya Brown); six grandchildren, Christopher Hatcher, Kelsey Hatcher, Cameron Hatcher, Morgan Hatcher, Krisette Hatcher, Erionna Hatcher; two great grandchildren, Emery Dixon and Emily Dixon; nieces Ande Brown (Un-day), Naja Brown (Nay-Jah) and many aunts and uncles, and cousins.

(Husband) My wife has the kind of personality that could light up the darkest room, she has a great sense of humor we laughed a lot, she is a very spiritual woman, she is not only my wife but she is my best friend and my shero, all that she endured with her illnesses she displayed a lot of faith and strength, courage I know that our God Jehovah gave her that courage and strength, I am so looking forward to seeing her again we won’t ever have to be apart again the true God Jehovah promised us life everlasting in a beautiful paradise earth (Ps 37:9-11,29 Re 21:3,4) some her favorite verses in the Bible.

(Her son's Bernard and Corey said this about their Mother) Our mother was a classy woman, very professional, top shelf, she had a sense of style and fashion, no matter what she was going thru, you would never know it, she would always shine and keep her head up and look good going thru it, that's where I think my brother and me get it from, no matter what's going on we always try to look our best and present our best to the world, my mother is positive and optimistic, she never had a bad thing to say about anyone, even the ones that wronged her, my mother loved Jehovah with all her heart and soul and had faith and believe that everything that she had been taught and knew about Jehovah would and is going to come to pass.

(Her brother Shelton) My sister was a loving person I know if she could help u she would not hesitate to support the person in need.
