Vada A. Adams, 86, passed away peacefully on Wednesday May 13, 2026 at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, Virginia.

Vada was a loving wife to her husband, Wayne, for more than 50 years, a loving mom, granny, and friend. She always put others first and was one the kindest ladies that you could ever meet. She loved being outdoors, planting flowers, and working in her bushes. Vada was a faithful Jehovah’s Witness for 60 years. She will be forever missed and always fondly remembered.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Adams; parents, Manuel “Clyde” and Margaret Johnson; and brother, Manuel “Sonny” Johnson.

Vada is survived by her son, Mark Adams of Saltville, VA; sister, Monecia Owens of Abingdon, VA; and granddaughters, Tiffany Adams of Saltville, VA and Tasha Adams of Abingdon, VA.
