Shelby Jean Havens age 85, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2023 at Mountain Laurel Rehab & Nursing, Rural Retreat, Va.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Bessie Dalton; brothers, Dee Dalton and Don Dalton; and sister, Carol Wymer.
Jean is survived by three daughters, Beverly Ann Forbis, Connie Harden and husband, Ricky and Shirley Harris and husband, Billy all of Marion, Va.; two brothers, Allen Dalton of Marion, Va., and Jack Dalton and wife, Ann of Adwolfe, Va.; four grandchildren, Brandie Vanover, Amanda Vanover, Travis Harden and wife, Samantha and Kayla Harden; three great-grandchildren, Katilyn Harden, Khloe Harden and Sadie Able; sister-in-law, Faye Dalton; special friends, Dave, Michelle, and Dylan Roberts.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 29, 2023 from 5 until 7 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel, 237 East Main Street, Marion, Va. Funeral services will begin at 7 p.m. with Pastor Mike Sage officiating. Graveside services will be held Thursday, March 30, 2023 at 10 a.m. at Rosewood Memorial Gardens, 7764 Lee Highway, Rural Retreat, Va. Family and friends are asked to meet at Seaver-Brown Funeral Service & Crematory by 9:15 a.m. to follow in procession.
