MARION, Va.

Ruth Stout Myers age 95, widow of Horace E. Myers, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2023 at Francis Marion Manor, Marion, Va.

Born on May 31, 1927 to the late Albert and Dora Markland Stout.  She was a active member of First United Methodist Church.

Ruth is survived by her daughter, Eugenia Sue Myers of Marion, Virginia.  Four nieces, Mary Unglesbee and husband, Bob of Baltimore, Maryland; Nancy Harrup and husband, Rev. Paul of Burk, Virginia; and Cindy Stout of California.  Two nephews, Vearl Bowers and wife, Shirley of Alexandria, Virginia; and Albert Stout and wife, Joan of Boise, Idaho. 

The family will receive friends Thursday, March 09, 2023 from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Graveside services will follow at Rose Lawn Cemetery Mausoleum 4410 Lee Highway, Marion, Va 24354
