Ronald Michael Musser age 80, passed away Monday, July 10, 2023 at his home in Rural Retreat, Virginia.

Mike was a loving husband, dad, grandad, brother, and friend. He founded Musser Lumber Company in 1968 and his contribution to the community has extended many decades.  He enjoyed farming and spending time with his family.  Mike was a faithful member of Cedar Bluff Baptist Church where he taught an adult Sunday school class and was a trustee for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Carol Musser; daughter, Robin Musser; and grandson, Thomas Musser.

Mike is survived by his sons Mick Musser and wife, Melissa and Ed Musser and wife, Lisa, all of Rural Retreat, Va.; sister, Peggy Rule of Waynesboro, Va; five grandchildren, Garrett, Matthew, Andrew, Abby and Ben; several nieces and nephews; and special caregivers; Deyni, Mona, Beth and Katy.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 12, 2023 from 12 until 2 p.m. at Cedar Bluff Baptist Church, 132 Churchland Drive, Atkins, Va. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. with Pastor Justin Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Cemetery, 4410 Lee Highway, Marion, Va.
