Los Angeles, Cali. Rodney Wayne Trent, age 49, died Saturday, May 19, 2018 in Los Angeles, Cali. He was born January 11, 1969 in Charleston, S.C. Mr. Trent was a good man and was ready to help anyone who needed it. He loves his Washington Redskins and enjoyed listening to anything by Led Zeppelin, usually while playing poker or blackjack. He was a loving father and grandfather who cared deeply for his family. Rodney is survived by his daughter, Cheyenne Summer Trent; sons, Joshua Danton Trent, and Jeremy Dean Trent and fiancée, Caitlyn Myers all of Elliston, Va.; mother and step-father, Barbara Sue and Donald Gooden, Jr. of Sunland, Cali.; sisters, Renee Trent of Sunland, Cali., and Rhonda Parks of Roanoke, Va.; brother, Jason Wood of Roanoke, Va.; grandson, Junior Dean Trent of Elliston, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
