ATKINS, Va.
Robert Lynn "Bobby" Hash, age 55, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2018.
A presence larger than life, you always knew when Bobby entered the room. Full of vitality, Bobby loved animals, the beach (a good tan), to tell hilarious stories, and the power of a good fart. He'd never met a stranger. You couldn't come away from Bobby untouched. People knew him as many things - trainer, dog whisperer, Virginia Tech graduate, unfiltered storyteller, bear lover, beloved brother, uncle, and friend. Heaven just got a lot brighter with his soul full of heart, laughter, goodness and humor.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Jean Hash; brother, Patrick Hash; his favorite aunt, Shirley Smith; and his two furry children Phoebe and Dreamer.
Left to keep laughing at his stories are his sister, Barbara Moore and husband, Dickie; brother, Doug Hash and wife, Vicky; niece, Kasey Buckland and husband, Paul; great-nieces and great-nephews, Katey Grace, Ashton, and Addy Buckland; uncle, Bill Smith; best friend, Mark Blevins; beloved dog Wally; and an army of family, friends and animals that adored him.
A celebration of Bobby's life will be held at Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Pastor Harry Howe officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, November 16, 2018 from 5 until 7p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
