MARION, Va.

Robert E. Rhea, age 79, passed away Monday, December 14, 2020 at Francis Marion Manor, Marion, Va.

Robert was a loving husband, dad and “Papaw Money” to all of his grandchildren. He was a collector of junk and if he wasn’t chewing his food – he was chewing tobacco. Always happy and good to people, Robert Rhea was one of a kind and will be missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Estel and Elizabeth Rhea; infant son, Johnathan Rhea; seven brothers; and six sisters.

Robert is survived by his wife of 55, almost 56 years, Judy Rhea of Marion, Va.; daughters, Roberta Rhea of Rural Retreat, Va. and Rhonda Little and husband, James of Sugar Grove, Va.; son, Jeremy Rhea of Marion, Va.; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; sister, Georgia Gregory of Maryland; several nieces and nephews.
