CHILHOWIE, Va.

Richard Berry, age 70, passed away Monday, May 17, 2021 at his home.

Richard was a kind man who knew just about everyone. He was funny and most always had a smile. Richard was a loving father and papaw. His gentle way and wonderful sense of humor will be missed by many.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Ruth Berry; wife, Phyllis Barker Berry; and brother, Jeff Berry.

Richard is survived by his special friend, Sandy Landis of Marion, Va.; daughter, Kelly Stevens and husband, George of Pocomoke, Md.; six grandchildren, Bridget, Josie, Maci, Courtney, Bo and Kimber.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1 until 2 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Family and friends are asked to follow the COVID-19 Safety & Social Distancing Guidelines.
