Revena Hubble Cox age 82, went to her eternal home Wednesday, December 13, 2023 with her family by her side.

To know Revena Hubble Cox was to love her. For 82 years she blessed those who knew her sweetness, wit and humor. Revena loved life and living for her Lord. She brought such joy to those in her presence. Revena graduated from Rich Valley High School and Marion College. She assisted numerous doctors in Smyth County and a favorite dentist, Dr. Ray. She loved people, animals and helping others. She was the best biscuit maker.

She was married to William Fred Cox for 63 years until his passing earlier this year. Revena was the daughter of Leon and Oneida Cassell Hubble.

Revena leaves behind her pride and joys, her son, Larry Cox and wife, Debbie; two grandsons, Derrick Cox and Shawn Cox; Also, to be brightened by her memories, her cousins, Lynn Campbell and Dot Hubble; her “family” at Abingdon Health and Rehab Center who poured love on her daily and her special friend, Bailey.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 19, 2023 from 5 until 7 p.m. at Fraziers’ Seaver-Brown Chapel, 237 East Main Street, Marion Va. 24354. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Zion United Methodist Church, 3171 Old Rich Valley Road, Ceres Va. 24318 with Pastor Neal Hammons officiating. Burial will follow in Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery.
