Raleigh William Wyatt age 90, passed away Sunday, October 12, 2025 at his home.
Raleigh was a family man through and through. He loved his family and his grandchildren and great-grands were the absolute apples of his eye. Raleigh was proud of his job at the U.S. Soldiers & Airmen’s Home and was a dedicated employee. He was a jokester at heart and loved making people laugh and the ladies all loved his fun loving personality and flirty wit. Raleigh was one of a kind, and will be missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his first wife of 50 years, Racheal Louise Hall Wyatt; daughter, Racheal Ann Wyatt; great-grandson, Rylyn Skyler Price; parents, Claude and Maggie Wyatt; brothers, Donald Ray Wyatt, Herman Wyatt, Bobby Wyatt and Reece Wyatt; sisters, Ruby Royal, Jean Reeves, Shirley Sheets, Ilene Roland and Agnes Miller.
Raleigh is survived by his second wife of 16 years, Juanita E. Wyatt; daughter, Kimberly Wyatt; step-daughter, Janet Barrom; stepson, James Harvey Taylor (Sharon); grandchildren, Michelle Lang (Tommy), Nicole Malley (Nathan), William Ellis (Heather), Kyla Shea Wyatt, Briaunna Keeling (Hunter), Taylor Martin and Justin Taylor; great-grandchildren, Zaryn Bowman, Kyson Ellis, Izaia Ellis, Alisha Ellis, Everleigh Ellis, Jamesleigh Aleah Murrell and Dezmond James Murrell (Petie); many nieces, nephews and their families.

The family will receive friends Thursday, October 16, 2025 from 5 until 7 p.m. at Fraziers’ Seaver-Brown Chapel, 237 East Main Street, Marion Va. Funeral services will begin at 7 p.m. with Pastor Mark Barker officiating. Graveside services will be held Friday, October 17, 2025 at 11 a.m. in Cleghorn Valley Baptist Church Cemetery, 295 Cleghorn Valley Road, Chilhowie, Va. Family and friends are asked to meet at Fraziers’ Seaver-Brown at 10:15 a.m. for procession to the cemetery.
