Pete Parks

Pete Parks age 72, passed away Monday, January 23, 2023 at Bristol Regional Medical Center, Bristol, Tenn.

Pete was just a happy-go-lucky guy who would do anything he could for anybody. He was happiest outside, hunting and fishing; and he knew the outdoors. Pete was a proud Marine and served his country in Vietnam. He never knew a stranger and was just a kind man who kept to himself, but loved everybody and everyone loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Parks; mother, Fay Pafford; wife, Sandy Parks; brother, Jesse Parks; and sister, Linda Long.

Pete is survived by his daughter, Amanda Scott (David) of Sugar Grove, Va.; son, Phillip Parks (Kelly) of Marion, Va.; five grandchildren, Paige, Owen, Harper, Hunter, and Logan; one great-grandchild, Colt; and several nieces and nephews.
