ATKINS, Va. PAULINE WAMPLER SNIDER, age 100, passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, October 11, 2017, just days after her 100th birthday celebration with family from Texas and Virginia with friends all around. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul "Pete" Snider. Pauline is survived by two sons, Paul Snider, Jr. of Marion, Virginia and David K. Snider and wife, Gail of San Antonio, Texas; four grandchildren, Paula Lynn Stamper, Stephen Curtis Snider, Chris Andrew Snider and David L. Snider; four great-grandchildren, Erika Stamper, Will Snider, Ben Snider and Katherine Snider, who was able to attend her Great Nana's birthday party. Funeral Services will be held Friday, October 13, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Rose Lawn Cemetery's Mausoleum in Marion, Virginia with Reverend Rebecca Reed officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
