MARION, Va.

Paul Edward Peacock, age 81, passed away June 1, 2018.

Paul was an electrician for over 27 years at Merillat Industries. He was a charter member of the Adwolfe Volunteer Fire Department and was so proud of the department for it accomplishments. When Paul wasn't building his bird houses or piddling on his lawnmower he was being a good husband, father, and friend.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Della Peacock; daughter, Mitzi Peacock; four brothers, two sisters, and his special shitzu companion, Benji.

Mr. Peacock is survived by his wife of 57 years, Hernda Blevins Peacock of Marion, Va.; daughter, Susan Warren Pratt of Jonesboro, Tn.; two special nephews, Neal and Glenn Peacock; and a very special friend, Bill Doane.

Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, June 5, at 1 p.m. at Riverside Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend David Neitch officiating.
