Opal Jane Moser Burris passed away at Bristol Regional Medical Center on April 2, 2024. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mitchell and Alma Dean Moser; grandparents, Walter "Brownie" and Virgie Moser; her mother-in-law, Lucy Belle Myers Burris. Opal joins the love of her life in Heaven, her husband, Ronald Burris, who has been waiting there.

 

Opal loved her friends and co-workers at Walmart where she was in customer service for many years. She was always caring and kind.


Opal is survived by her daughter, Karen DeBord and her husband, David; her sons, Ronald Christopher Burris and Robert Burris; her beloved and only granddaughter, with whom she had a very special relationship with, Ashley DeBord Perkins and her husband, Roy; great granddaughters, Paisley and Everley Perkins.

Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and hospice staff of Bristol Regional Medical Center for the kindness shown to the family during this time.
