Newton E. Johnson age 86, passed away after an extended illness Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Valley Health Care Center, Chilhowie, Virginia.

Special thanks to the staff of Caris Hospice and Valley Health Care Center for their care of Newton. 

Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 9:30 a.m. at Fraziers’ Seaver-Brown Chapel, 237 East Main Street, Marion, Va. Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. with Pastor Chuck Stout officiating. Burial will be private in Round Hill Cemetery, Cemetery Street, Marion, Va.
