MARION, Va. Nellie Bonnie Moore, age 90 passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Francis Marion Manor, Marion, Va. She was born December 3, 1927 in Elliston, Va. to the late Emmett and Mamie Gilmore Weeks. Bonnie was retired from Harwood Industries after numerous years of service. She was an avid reader who was loved by those who knew her, and she will be missed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Raymond "June" Burgess, Jr. Bonnie is survived by her sister, Betty Sams and husband, Jerry of Crescent City, Fla; nephews and nieces, Doug Cregger, Margaret Barr, Bill Cregger, all of Marion, Va. and Judy Poe of Orlando, Fla. Graveside services will be held Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Wassum Cemetery with Pastor Jeremiah Sluss officiating.
