Michael was proceeded in death by his parents, Guy W. and Gladys G Bolling; and sister, Sandy Bolling.

Michael is survived by his son, M. Todd Bolling and wife Mary of Nashville, NC; sister, Debbie Rock of Bristol, VA; grandson, Levi R. Bolling; nieces and nephews, Jacob Rock, Janie Brooks (Mike), and Jared Rock; and special cousin, Bobby.
