Mary Lee Nelson Hutton age 69, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at her home.

Mary had a heart for helping others. She liked to keep it simple, and do her own thing. But what she loved most were the kids who called her “Nana” and “Granny”. She took great pride in her grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her son Devin Preston; and former husband, Ernest Plummer.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Renee Plummer VanDyke (Danny) of Glade Spring, Va.; two sons, Timothy Goodpasture of Chilhowie, Va. and Michael Goodpasture of Sugar Grove, Va.; grandchildren, Haley and Gavin VanDyke, Jasmine Goodpasture, Autumn and Ethan Goodpasture; several siblings, nieces, nephews and their families.

We know she would hate any pomp and circumstance and in keeping with Mary’s wishes, there will be no public services.
