Mark Randall Skeen, 63, went to be with the Lord surrounded by his family Sunday March 15, 2026 at Mountain Laurel Rehab and Nursing Home in Rural Retreat.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy L. and Ella Jane Skeen; and his grandparents, George W. and Dorothy Trivett.

Mark is survived by his ex-wife and caregiver, Angela Ramsey of Bristol, TN; daughters, Abigail and Peyton Skeen of Bristol TN, Haley Skeen of Bristol, TN and Korei Skeen of Ohio; sister, Lori Dobbins of Bristol; brother, Mike Skeen of Bristol, VA; five nephews; two special cousins, Randy Trivett of Bristol, TN and Kevin Statzer of Bristol, VA; special friends, Chandra Beverage and husband Mark; and a special neighbor, Tucker.

For the love, care, and compassion they have shown to Mark and his family, a special thank you goes out to Dr. Kendrick Williams, Dr. Garner, Dr. Ryan Cronin, Ashley Roberts PA, Dr. Ryan Shao, Dr. Looney, Caris Hospice of Wytheville, VA, Jonathan Fleenor with Goodson Kinderhook Volunteer Fire Department, Pastor Travis Ingle, the staff at Drake’s in Bristol, TN, and Blake Frazier and staff of Fraziers’ Seaver Brown Funeral Home.

Memorial services will be held Thursday March 19, 2026 from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at North Bristol Baptist Church with Pastor Travis Ingle officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bristol Life Saving Crew, Bristol Virginia Animal Shelter, Goodson Kinderhook Volunteer Fire Department or North Bristol Baptist Church.
