Marie Ramsey

Marie Anne Geisenhaver Ramsey, 52, of Marion died at her home. Born on June 4th, 1951 in Tecumseh, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Arthur James and Wanda Milbourn Geisenhaver. She was a 1969 graduate of Tecumseh High School and a 1974 graduate of Alma College in Alma, Michigan with a Degree in Social Work. Marie had worked with the Department of Social Services for a number of years and was an Episcopalian. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Ronald James and Shawna Lane Ramsey of Saltville. One granddaughter, Boadie Ramsey. One brother, Dr. Frank M. Geisenhaver and wife, Lee Ann of Abingdon, VA. One nephew, Angus Pochyla and wife, Cassie, and a niece, Margaret Pochyla, all of Abingdon. Memorial services will be held Monday evening, February 16th at 7:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with the Rev. Neville Mozingo officiating. Interment will be at a later date in the Grovenburg Cemetery in Mason, Michigan. The family will receive friends from 6 til 7 p.m. prior to the service.
