Marcella C. Smith, age 91, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2026 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was preceded in death by her husband Elmer Smith Sr.; parents, Brown and Mary Cox; son, Gary Smith; grandson, Allen Smith.

Marcella is survived by her son, Elmer S. Smith, Jr. (Kathy); daughter, Patti Smith Woolard (Hugh); brother, James R. Cox (Carol); grandchildren, Christa Woolard-Jenkins (Danny May), Darrel Woolard (Christina), Wendy Smith-Webb (David), Michael Smith; great-grandchildren, Russell Webb, Mackenzie Webb, Dean Poston (Danielle), Gabrielle May; great-grandchildren, Haley Jenkins and Gabriel Jenkins; great-great grandchild, Emma Louise Poston; several nieces and nephews; special friend and niece, Maxine Fore.
