MARION, Va.

Louise Taylor Thompson, age 89, passed away Friday, June 7, 2024 at Smyth County Community Hospital.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Carl A. Taylor; daughter, Sharon Adams; three sons, Stanley Taylor, Mitchell Taylor and James “Cotton” Taylor.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Thompson; three daughters, Carolyn Pugh, Lois MacLean and Kathy Collins; stepdaughter, Angela Thompson; grandchildren, Ashley Reid and Courtney Mosely; biological grandchildren, Erin Pugh France and Chase Taylor.

Family will receive friends, Thursday, June 13, 2024 from 1 to 2 p.m. at Fraziers’ Seaver-Brown Chapel. Funeral Services will begin at 2 p.m. with Reverend Dr. Charles Stewart officiating. Burial will be private.
