Lois Jane Conklin Antonucci

SUGAR GROVE, Va.

 

Lois Jane Conklin Antonucci, age 79, passed suddenly Friday, August 5, 2022.

 

Born on April 29, 1943 - daughter of the late Elwood and Elizabeth (Crouter) Conklin and living in Suffern, NY the majority of her life, Lois retired to Sugar Grove, Va. in 2010 from Avon Products where she was a longtime dedicated employee. She was a talented seamstress and took great pleasure in sewing for her kids and grandkids. Lois attended St. John’s Catholic Church of Marion where she enjoyed serving and volunteering. Lois was a very caring and quick witted lady that loved being with her family. She will be greatly missed by all.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of almost 60 years, Bruno Antonucci; and her brother, Arden Conklin. 

 

Lois is survived by her children, Albert, Elizabeth (David), and Robert (Lynne); nine grandchildren, Scott, Dana, Kevin, Brandon, Joan Marie, Jeffrey F., Olivia, Jeffrey and Summer; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Julia Ballard (David) and Naomi Bonestell.

 

The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 10, 2022 from 10 a.m. until Noon at Seaver-Brown Chapel. A Mass of Resurrection will begin at Noon. Burial will follow in Slemp Cemetery, Sugar Grove, Va.

RIP Mrs Antonucci! I, along with all the "kids" in the neighborhood, thank you and Mr Antonucci for helping to provide us with the best neighborhood to grow up in — and for the best driveway to sled down every winter! So many wonderful memories! See you on the other side!

Lois was a kind and caring woman with a great sense of humor! We loved when she visited MN. She was full of fun, willingly worked on all sorts of projects and was always so sweet! She will be missed. Our sympathies for your loss.
