Kay DeVault

Kay Hall DeVault, age 64 , of Marion died Tuesday, March 9th, 2004 in the Morristown -Hamlen Hospital in Morristown, Tennessee. Born in Marion, she was the daughter of the late Robert L. and Geraldine Garretson Hall and was preceded in death by a son, Robert Carl Bender. She was a 1957 graduate of Marion Senior High School and a life long member of the Ebenezer Lutheran Church. Surviving are one daughter, Kim McClure of Morristown, Tennessee. One son and daughter-in-law, Michael G. and Norma Lopez Bender of Atlanta, Georgia. Two beloved granddaughters, Meghan McClure Ray and Lauren McClure Ray of Newport, Tennessee. One brother, Gerald L. (Gary) Hall and wife , Linda of Marion, Virginia. Two nieces, Melissa Hall and Robyn Hall Anderson. A special cousin who was like a brother, Richard E. Waddell of De Land, Florida. A dear life-long friend, Sharon Johnson Schrader of Marion. Memorial Services will be held Thursday , March 11th at 7:30 p.m. at the Ebenezer Lutheran Church with Pastor James H. Bangle officiating. Entombment will follow in the Church Columbarium. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 til 7:30 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
