Kathie Elitha Ann Honaker-Osborne age 70, passed away Thursday, June 19, 2025 at Mountain Laurel Nursing & Rehab, Rural Retreat, Va.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George & Stella VanDyke; three brothers, J.B. VanDyke, Douglas M. Vandyke & Harry Lee VanDyke; sister, Christine Gross.

Kathie is survived by her husband, Donald Osborne of Penhook, Va.; daughter, Monaca Wallace (Jackie) of Lebanon, Va.; son, Timothy Compton of Wytheville, Va.; sister, Mona Osborne (John) of Christiansburg, Va.; grandchildren, Kandee Phillips (Mikey), Morgan Wallace, Jacqueline Wallace & Tanner Compton; great-grandchildren, Dallas Townes, Stormy Townes & Kamille Wallace; several nieces, nephews & their families; sisters-in-law, Judy P. VanDyke & Barbara Justice.

In keeping with Kathie’s wishes, there will be no public services.
