Juanita Gray Marlow age 87, passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at her home.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Clarence Shupe Sr.; second husband, Paul P. Marlow; son, Michael O. Shupe; parents, John Henry and Mary Katherine Thomas; sisters, Anne Bell, Mary Hammer, Brenda Eller; brothers, Lindell Thomas, Windell Thomas, Henry Carl “Butch” Thomas, Darrell Thomas and Gary L. Thomas.

Juanita is survived by her daughters, Irma Osborne (Junior) of Atkins, Va., Jennifer Hoffman (Jeff West) of Marion, Va. and Kathy Hoback (Bill) of Wytheville, Va.; son, Jimmy Shupe (Stacey) of Marion, Va.; a host of many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and their families; special companion, her little dog Jenny.

The family will receive friends Sunday, January 4, 2026 from 1 until 2 p.m. at Fraziers’ Seaver-Brown Chapel, 237 East Main Street, Marion, Va. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. with Pastor Justin Hall and Pastor Mike Sage officiating. Burial will follow in Wassum Cemetery, 5549 – 5557 Lee Highway, Atkins, Va.
