Jerry Snyder age 81 passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at Lewis Gale Medical Center, Salem, Va. 

 Jerry Snyder was a man who believed in serving others. He did this as a U.S. Army Veteran who served 6 years for his country and serving Wythe & Buchanan Counties as Director of Social Services. He was a graduate of Concord University & West Virginia University (Go Mountaineers.) 

 He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert B. & Glenna Snyder; sister, Shirley Wolfe & brother, Richard Snyder

  Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Margaret George Snyder of Crockett, Va.; three sons, Jason Snyder of Virginia Beach, Va., Kristopher Snyder (April) of Dublin, Va, and Ben Snyder (Amanda) of Crockett, Va.; four grandchildren, Emily, Alexis, Dani & Quinn.

 In keeping with Jerry’s wishes, there will be no public service.
