Jeffery Earl Land, age 38, passed away peacefully, July 23, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer at The University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville, Virginia. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Charles and Bertha Land, and his cousin, Joseph Aaron Griffin.

Jeffery was just a good old boy (The Dukes of Hazzard was his favorite show). He'd do anything to help anybody...and the truth is, he could do anything, from tuning up a car to making a heat pump heat or cool again! Jeffery had many friends and family that he loved, but his favorites will always be his son, Colton and his stepdaughter, Lily. Jeffery did his best to make a positive difference in everything he did. Jeffery will be missed!

He is survived by his son, Colton Land; his stepdaughter, Lily Coleman; sisters, Amie Michael, Kimberly Land; brothers, Charley Land, Timothy Land; God-son, Otis "Boogens" Hounshell III; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Jim Cardwell, Carl Lamie, J.D. Cregger, Dennis Vanhoozer, Kerrissa Mutter, Cody Land, Justin Hounshell, and Deanna Coleman.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 4 p.m. at Fraziers' Seaver-Brown Chapel, 237 East Main Street, Marion, Virginia with Pastor David Mumpower officiating. The family will receive friends from 3p.m. until the time of service.
