Jeff Eads

Jeff Eads age 60, passed away Monday, January 1, 2024 at Johnson City Medical Center, Johnson City, Tenn.

Jeff was just good. He was a wonderful husband, dad, and papaw. Jeff loved to fish, hunt, and be with his family. He loved his Lord and would tell everyone about Him and the difference Jesus can make. Jeff was an Elder and very involved with his church. He and Dianna worked very hard to help many within the homeless ministry. Jeff gave in life and in death, through organ and tissue donation. His family and friends will miss a great man.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Stella Eads; brother, Harvey Eads.

Jeff is survived by his wife of 38 years, Dianna Eads of Bristol, Tenn.; daughter, Kristen Evans and husband, Jesse of Bristol, Tenn.; son, Johnathan Eads and wife, Amanda of Bristol, Va.; sister, Sharon Houchins and husband, Emory of Johnson City, Tenn.; brother, Kevin Eads and wife, Rita of Richlands, Va.; three grandchildren, John Paul Eads, Kendall Evans, and Sadie Evans; several nieces and nephews and their families. 

Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 7, 2024 at 3 p.m. at the First Christian Church, 311 Spencer Street, Bristol VA 24201 with Pastor Jeremy Burden, Pastor Herbert C. Peak, Jr., and Brother Jesse Evans officiating.
