MARION, VA JEAN CHARAPICH GRIFFITH, age 69, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, Thursday, January 19, 2017 in Bristol, Tenn. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clark J. Phillips, and wife, Shirley Blizzard Phillips Wright; husband, Jim Charapich; daughter in law, Sarah B. Charapich; grandson, Louis Charapich. Jean is survived by her three children, Mark Charapich and wife, Regenia, Angela Fields and husband Matt, Diane Charapich and friend, Luther Williams; step- sons, Jim Charapich and wife Katherine, Don Charapich and wife Donna, Jeff Charapich and wife Mala; grandchildren, Kelly Charapich, Timothy Charapich, Daniel Cruey; husband, George D. Griffith, step-father, William G. Wright, special double first cousin, Mary Ann Dodd and husband, David as well as many beloved cousins; her feathered Peachy bird and her cat Susie. Funeral service will be held Monday, January 23, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with the Reverend Tim Boyette officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery, Marion, Va.
