Georgia Louise Reeves Clark, age 94, passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at Bristol Regional Medical Center, Bristol, Tenn.

Louise was born on October 29, 1930 at the Reeves Family Farm, overlooking the New River south of Independence, VA. A graduate of Independence High School, Radford College, and UVA-Wise, Louise was an elementary school teacher for 36 years in Grayson and Smyth Counties. She was a member of Rich Valley Presbyterian Church, having served as a deacon, an elder, and a trustee. She also attended Royal Oak Presbyterian Church in Marion. She was a charter member of the Royal Oak Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, as well as an avid gardener, bridge player, knitter, traveler, and reader.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Milton Clark; parents, George Worth and Pressie Hash Reeves; two brothers, John Bryan and George Preston Reeves; and sister, Virginia Reeves Bond.

She is survived by her nieces, Jenny Bond Turner and husband Steve of Independence, Va., Emily Bond Papadopoulos and husband Paul of Hurricane, W. Va., Margaret Clark Graham and husband Scott of Hilliard, Ohio, Catherine Clark Tilson and husband Donnie of Marion, Va., Martha Jane Ballard of Jackson, Mich., and Cindy Ballard Plant and husband Jim of Norfolk, Va.; nephews, Charles Vance Bond, Jr. and his wife Jodi of Dry Branch, Ga., Charlie Clark of Abingdon, Va.; John Clark and wife Kim of Saltville, Va. and The Honorable Everett Martin Jr. and wife Nancy of Norfolk, Va.; and numerous great nieces and great nephews who were dear to her.

The family will receive friends Sunday, October 26, 2025 from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. at Rich Valley Presbyterian Church, 3811 Valley Road, Saltville Va. Funeral service will begin at 3 p.m. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Rich Valley Presbyterian Cemetery Fund, c/o Jim Emery, 509 Sunset Road, Ceres, VA 24318.
