MARION, VIRGINIA: GARRETT RUSH HALSEY, age 13, died Thursday, December 23, 2004. He is survived by his mother, Carolyn "Lyn" Thompson of Marion, Virginia. His father and step-mother, Charles and Liesa Halsey of Christiansburg, Virginia. One sister, Logan "Leah" Halsey of Marion, Virginia. One step-sister, Krista Hoeback of Christiansburg, Virginia. Six aunts, Betty Mosely of Salem, Virginia; Susan Alexander of Asheville, North Carolina; Meg Pagano and Cindy Camasta both of Marietta, Georgia; Connie Atwell of Wytheville, Virginia; and Linda Patrick of Orlando, Florida. Two uncles, Robert Thompson of Corvallis, Oregon, and Mike Halsey Saltville, Virginia. Step-grandparents, Aubrey and Julana Whitlow of Rich Creek, Virginia. Many cousins also survive. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, December 26, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church with Rev. John Graham officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery, Marion, Virginia. The family will receive friends Saturday, December 25, 2004 from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
