Fred James Pipes, Jr., age 63, died Sunday, February 3, 2019 in Chilhowie, Va.

Fred was born November 18, 1955 to the late Fred James Pipes Sr. and Cora Mae Pipes. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kathi G. Pipes.

He is survived by one daughter, Cheri Desiree; one son, Joseph Matthew both of Ohio; one sister, Sue Garner and husband, Brent of Colonial Beach, Va.; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Burial will follow in Thomas Cemetery, Marion, Va. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12 noon. until time of service at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
