Frances Ann “Frankie” Blevins age 72 passed away at her home in Marion, Virginia on April 8, 2026.

Frankie was a nurse for over 30 years. She loved her patients and had a passion for caring for others. She was also a charter member of the Smyth County Moose Lodge and she loved listening to and dancing to music. She enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and a favorite past time of hers was hanging out with her friends. She cherished spending time with her grandchildren and working in her flowerbeds outside.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Blevins; mother and father, Percy and Kitty VanName; and sister, Nancy Brouillette.

She is survived by her daughter, Stacie Blevins Jackson and husband Bobby; son Rusty Ray Blevins; sister, Dianne Sally and husband Sam; brother, Jimmy “Kit” VanName and wife Diane; grandchildren, Skylee Blevins, Addisyn Blevins, Brody Jackson and Grady Jackson; significant other for over 20 years, Danny Green; many nieces and nephews; special friends, Patty and John Rowland, Betty Tibbs and husband John Carrico, and Dr. Humsi; special neighbor Irene Grinstead and best friends Linda Armstrong and Patty Thomas.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at 7 P.M.at Fraziers’ Seaver-Brown Chapel with Chad Owens officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 -7 P.M. prior to the service.
