MARION, Va.

Everett “Johnny Eagle” Buchanan, age 83, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026 in Chilhowie, Va.

He will be greatly missed by all of his family.

Everett was preceded in death by his wife, Delores Buchanan; parents, Brown and Jenny Buchanan.

Everett is survived by grandchildren, Eddie Tucker and Pricilla Cooper (Scott) and nine other grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday March 18, 2026 at 2 P.M. at Rose Lawn Mausoleum, 4410 Lee Highway Marion, VA 24354. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.
