Emegene Dolinger Wyatt age 95, passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at Valley Health Care Center, Chilhowie, Va.

Born August 24, 1930 in Grayson County, Va. to the late John and Laura Davis Dolinger, Emegene was a longtime member of Parkers Chapel Church. She especially loved ministering to TriState Children’s Home in Bristol.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Wyatt; son, David Wyatt; grandson, Michael Paul Dolinger; son-in-law, Donald Wyatt; brothers and sisters, Smith, Earl, Enice, Jesse, Garnie, Emeline, Callie, Jack, Bradley, Alfred, Roosevelt and Mack; many cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of friends; step-children, Geneva, Thelma, Shirley and Bill; and several step-grandchildren

Those left to mourn her passing include her son, Richard “Rick” Dolinger (Becky Dolinger); daughters, Vickie Evelsizer Wyatt and Cathy Wyatt (Carl Day); grandchildren, Dawn Wyatt, Wendy Wyatt (Mike Ratcliffe), Heather Day Gerbich, James Day (Leihua Day), Rich Dolinger (Shawna Dolinger), Lock Lee Dolinger; great-grandchildren, Jake Frye (LeeAnne Davis), Kara Ratcliffe, Layne Gerbich, Kimo, Micah, Keala-Nani and Kawika Day; great-great-grandchildren, Ronan Frye, Lena Frye and Wrenly Ratcliffe; several nieces and nephews and their families; step-children, Louise, Mag and Jack; several step-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Thursday, November 13, 2025 from 6 until 7 p.m. at Fraziers’ Seaver-Brown Chapel, 237 East Main Street, Marion, Va. Funeral services will begin at 7 p.m. with Pastor Chuck Herrell and Pastor Cody Sturgill officiating. Graveside services will be held Friday, November 14, 2025 in McClure Cemetery, St. Clairs Creek Road, Chilhowie Va. Family and friends are asked to meet at Fraziers’ Seaver-Brown at 10:15 a.m. to process to the graveside.
