Obituary

Elsie Sue Little, age 66, passed away on August 3, 2026 at Bristol Regional Medical Center in Bristol, TN.

A Legacy of Hard Work, Love, and Gathering.

Elsie “Sue” Hall Little, born on July 17, 1960, to Roy Hall, Sr. and Myrtle Cullop Hall, lived a life defined by resilience, generosity, and devotion to her family. As the youngest girl of her family, she was deeply cherished from the start—a warmth she paid forward tenfold throughout her life. Though tiny in stature, Sue possessed immense strength and an unmatched work ethic, rarely slowing down unless it was to find peace on a riverbank. Her passions became her legacy, beautifully woven into the lives of the grandchildren she adored.

The Riverbanks: Sue passed her love for fishing down to her two grandsons. She inspired them so deeply that they still carry fishing poles in their cars, always ready for an unexpected chance to cast a line.

The Kitchen Table: Cooking was Sue's ultimate love language. She taught her children and granddaughters how to cook, ensuring her recipes live on. Her table was always full of everyone's favorite foods and open to absolutely anyone.

A Servant's Heart: Sue lived with a humble, generous spirit, always ready to jump in and help anyone in need. Her deepest devotion was reserved for her family, including the last 13 years she spent proudly raising precious Paisley. While her children, grandchildren, extended family, and many friends will miss her every single day, they find comfort and joy in the Lord's promise. They look forward to the day they will see her again and finally gather around the table together for Sunday Dinner.

She is preceded in death by her father, Roy Hall, Sr. and mother, Myrtle Cullop Hall; brothers, Roy Hall, Jr. and Harold Hall; and her grandparents, Thomas B. Cullop I and Vertie Cullop and Hobert and Corey Hall.

Elsie is survived by her daughter, Brooke Little Hylton (Junior Hylton); sons, Michael Little (Crystal) and Marcus Little; special granddaughter, Paisely Little; grandkids, Christian Hylton, Ethan Hylton, Abigail Hylton, and Landon Wilson; brother, Kenny Hall; special brother, Ralph Hall; sister-in-law, Phyllis Hall; several nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; special niece- Sherry Martin; nephews, David (Amy) Hall, and Brian Hall; Sue also leaves behind an extended family to include several cousins and close family friends.

Memorial services will be Sunday August 9, 2026 at 4 p.m. at Fraziers’ Seaver Brown Chapel, Marion VA with Robert Blevins officiating. The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until 4 p.m.
