Edd Preston Odham, age 80, passed away Wednesday July 1, 2026 at The Bristol Hospice House in Bristol, Tennessee.

Edd was born and raised in Smyth County, Virginia. He spent most of his years living in Atkins, Virginia. Edd’s journey through life was one of dedication, hard work, and love for those around him. He was a volunteer firefighter for Atkins Fire Department. He worked at Thompson Tire for 26 years until obtaining his Master Electrician’s license and then began working for Owens Electric Service until retiring. There were many things he enjoyed in life like tinkering with something or hanging out with his fur babies, but most of all he enjoyed being with his family. He was so proud of his grandchildren. One piece of advice he would always give them was, “Get your education!” His great grandchildren would always bring a smile to his face.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Brown Odham Sr. and Mary Nelle Crowe Odham; and several sisters and brothers.

Edd is survived by his wife, Victoria “Vickie” Berry Odham; daughters, Mary Susan Odham West (Philip); step daughters, Amy Lorene Moser, Anita Sue Copley (Keith); sisters, Margie Odham Privett and Corina Odham Willowby; grandchildren, Emily Buckles (Adam), Levi Owens (Nikki), Jaymie Johnson (Zack), Lauren Otts (Matt), Braden Arcaro (Lindsey), Cameron Arcaro (Sara), Chasity Faust, Austin Copley (Elena), Ryan Copley, Braxton Estep-Copley; great-grandchildren, Joshua Arcaro, Aubrie Owens, Samuel Buckles, Judson Johnson, Jameson Johnson, Caeden Arcaro, Elsa Arcaro, Ryan Otts, Landon Otts.

Pallbearers: Levi Owens, Zack Johnson, Keith Copley, Darrell Ball, Austin Copley, Adam Buckles

Honorary Pallbearers: Bobby Arnold, Dick Owens, Cameron Arcaro, Braden Arcaro, Philip West, and Curtis Cook

Services will be Monday July 6, 2026 at 1 p.m. at Fraziers’ Seaver Brown Chapel, Marion VA with graveside to follow and Pastor Mike Sage and Luke Wampler to officiate. Family will accept friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
