Douglas Terence Casey age 69 passed away Thursday, March 18, 2025 at Smyth County Community Hospital, Marion, Va.

Douglas was a simple man who loved his family, his dogs, reading and the Alabama Crimson Tide.

He was preceded in death by his father, Theodore Douglas; and mother, Peggy Williams.

Douglas is survived by his wife, Ronna Lane Casey; daughter, Tera Casey; son, Torey Casey, all of Saltville, Va.; brother, Mark Casey of Bristol, Tenn.; several nieces and nephews and their families; his puppies, Harry & Violet.

In keeping with Douglas’ wishes, there will be no services.
