CHILHOWIE, Va.
DONALD RAY WYATT age 70, went to sleep Saturday morning, May 11, 2019 and woke up in Heaven.
Before his sickness, he would light up around children and they would him. He drove a school bus and loved his precious cargo for 32 years. Donald adored his family and enjoyed life together – laughing, watching all the movies Vickie didn't approve of. He was fun and was very protective of his girls; just ask the neighborhood boys! His fun and easy way will be missed by his Hardees gang, bus riders, family and friends. He will especially be missed by his brother-in-law – who will now have to eat 5 pounds of tangerines by himself at Christmas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Maggie Hart Wyatt; brother, Reece Wyatt; sisters, Ruby Royal and Jean Reeves.
Donald is survived by his wife, Vickie Wyatt of Chilhowie, Va.; daughters, Dawn Wyatt of Virginia Beach, Va. and Wendy Ratcliffe and husband, Mike of Atkins, Va.; mother-in-law, Emegene Wyatt of Chilhowie, Va.; sisters, Agnes Miller of Penn., Ilene Roland, Shirley Sheets and husband, Rick all of Chilhowie, Va.; brothers, Herman Wyatt of Penn., Raleigh Wyatt and wife, Juanita of Abingdon, Va., Bobby Wyatt and wife, Jean of Chilhowie, Va.; grandchildren, Jake Frye of Virginia Beach, Va. and Kara Ratcliffe of Atkins, Va.; several nieces and nephews; and special friend Gary Ashby of Chilhowie, Va.
