MARION, Va. Della Elizabeth Dunford, age 68, died Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at her home. She was born November 14, 1947 to the late Willie Mae Jones. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Rex Martin Dunford; daughter, Sherri Slaubaugh; and her cat, “Baby”. Della is survived by her daughter, Dana Siegfried and husband, Jim of Santa Fe, Texas; sons, David Dunford and wife, Colleen of Manassas, Va., Eric Dunford and wife, Cherie of Marathon, Fla.; grandchildren, Kevin, Amy, James, John Henry, Shawn, Katie, Megan and Stephanie; great-grandson, James; special niece, Trish McClure; special cousin, Carolyn Copeland; loving friends, Sandy and Ed Kirk; and her pets, “Jumpers” and “Cookie.” Graveside service will be conducted Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Pugh Cemetery, Teas, Virginia.
