David Eugene Morris, age 72, passed away at his home in Marion, VA on August 25, 2026.

David worked at Brunswick, Marion Composites and General Dynamics for nearly 50 years. In his free time, he loved to hunt and fish. Being in the woods was his favorite place to be. David will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Hazel Morris; sisters, Wavie Colley and Geraldine Hall; infant sister, Mildred Morris; brothers, Henry Morris, Frank Morris and Roy Morris.

David is survived by his daughter, Shelby Morris Nishanian (Greg) of Ashburn, Va.; son, Jim Morris of Marion, Va.; sister, Nancy Anders of Marion, Va.; brothers, George Morris and John Morris both of Marion, Va.; grandchildren, Julia Nishanian, Will Nishanian, Sam Nishanian and Zachary Morris; many nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends, Saturday, September 5, 2026 from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. at Fraziers’ Seaver-Brown Chapel, Marion, Va.
