Daniel “Danny” W. Blizzard, passed away Friday June 12, 2026 at Bristol Regional Medical Center in Bristol, Tennessee.

Danny was a hardworking man who always did his best no matter the obstacle he was facing. He was an expert at driving an 18-wheeler and his handle was “Turbo”. He loved working with heavy equipment and always loved a good home cooked meal. Danny was a kind hearted gentleman in every way. He was selfless, pure, and offered unconditional love to everyone he knew and loved. He was Bobbie Jo’s everything. Danny loved his family and his fiancée.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Sue Blizzard.

Daniel is survived by Fiancée, Bobbie Jo Whitt of Marion VA; daughter, Kayla Blizzard of Marion VA; sons, Kenneth Blizzard and Jordan Hess, both of Marion VA; sister, Marcy Kirk and Husband, Steve of Marion VA; brother, Mike Blizzard of Marion VA; grandchildren, Chloe Sawyer and Abigail Blizzard; nieces and nephews, Jim Bob Kirk and Wife Kim, Austin Kirk, Lucas Kirk and Partner Sheyanne Price; great-nieces and nephews, Layla Kirk and Liam Kirk; and his dogs, Boomer and Lucy.

Services will be Monday June 15, 2026 at 7 p.m. at Fraziers’ Seaver Brown Chapel, Marion, VA. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m.. Graveside services will be held Tuesday June 16, 2026 at 1 p.m. at Rose Lawn Cemetery, 4410 Lee Hwy, Marion, VA 24354 with Brother Chuck Stout officiating.
