Coleen Hogston Walls, age 71, died Sunday, October 17, 2021 after a short, but hard-fought battle with an aggressive cancer.
Coleen was a civil servant. She earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Virginia Tech, and was a registered dietician for more than three decades. In her later years, she joined the Grace Circle and these wonderful women became important members of her life. She had a passion for family and quilting, making countless costumes and quilts for her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Dovie Hogston of Saltville, Virginia.
