Clarence "Binker", "Flydaddy" Catron, age 84, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Bristol Regional Medical Center, Bristol, Tenn.
Mr. Catron was a member of Freedom Tabernacle Baptist Church; and was retired from Merillat after 22 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Louise Funk Catron.
Clarence is survived by his wife, Janie Catron of Atkins, Va.; sons, Mike Catron and wife, Mitzie of Marion, Va. and Chris Catron and wife, Ronda of Saltville, Va.; step-daughters, Marcia Richardson and husband, Harold Dean of Marion, Va. and Teresa McGrady and husband, Jeff of Atkins, Va.; sisters, Thelma Still and Shirley Williams and husband, Bobby all of Rural Retreat, Va.; brother, Archie Catron and wife, Carolyn of Bakersfield, Cali.; grandchildren, Camille Johnson and husband, Justin and Lucas Catron; step-grandchildren, Rhiannon Powers, Kayla Fearing, Kerri Smith and husband, Jordan, Erin McGrady and significant other, Ivy Davis, Aaron Guymond and wife, Timber and Ryan Guymond; great-grandchildren, Kaedence Johnson, Jaxon Johnson and Addison Powers; step-great-grandchildren, Levi Guymond, Kaiden Guymond, Sophie Guymond; best friends, Jerry and Brenda Umbarger; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 21, 2022 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Pastor Mike Sage officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Memorial Gardens, 7764 West Lee Highway, Rural Retreat, Va. 24368.
